WOW group met with Kim to hand over our donations of Christmas pyjamas. We managed to collect 51 pairs of pyjamas which will go to children in the Liverpool area. Thank you to everyone who donated!

December 2024

WOW group met with representatives of Maghull Food Bank to hand over our donations of hampers following our reverse advent calendar. 

November 24 - Year 1 have decided to invite our friends at St Andrew's church over to school for a Christmas craft morning! Our WOW group members went over to church with invitations and spoke to the congregation. 

October 2024 - Year 1 have been learning about Harvest and how some people do not celebrate a good Harvest. As a class we have decided that we want to lead the school in collecting donations for the local food bank. 

Update - Tens of bags of food were donated and have now gone to the food bank.

October 2024 - One of our Year 4 pupils is swimming 5k in the month of October to raise money and awareness for Young Lives vs Cancer. As of the 2nd October she has already smashed her £150 target!

Update 24th October - £550 raised! What an amazing effort.

September 2024 - Year 5 noticed that there was litter on the playground and wanted to do something about it. They picked it all up and then spoke to our School Business Manager who ordered some litter pickers for them. This is now part of our school day, with a rota devised for everyone to help keep our school clean and tidy. 

July 2024 - Mr. Jones and Mr. Taylor ran over 30 miles combined around the school field to raise money and awareness for New Hope school in Uganda. 

March 2024 - One of our Year 1 children ran 1 mile every day in March to raise money for reading books for our Infant playground. She aimed to raise £100 but managed to raise £425!
