Inclusion - LGBT+
We are currently working towards the 'Rainbow Award 2025.'
Questions regarding LGBT+ should be directed to Mrs Dwan and/or Mrs Bell, who are leading this area in our school. Miss Hayes, our PSHE Lead and our two ELSAs also work directly with supporting children and families.
All staff have received training ensuring that they are equipped to support children and familiy members who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and are equipped to answer questions, give reassurance and sign post to organisations who can give further support.
Your acceptance and support is vital for your child if they are confused about, or coming to terms with their gender-identity. Fear of negative judgement and rejection can be huge obstacles in your child seeking support (Young Minds)
