Online Safety

At St Andrew’s Primary School, we recognise that technology is an important part of our children’s lives, both in school and at home. We are committed to helping our pupils develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to use technology safely, responsibly and respectfully.

Our Online Safety Policy and Acceptable Use Policy set out our expectations for the safe and appropriate use of technology across our school community. These policies provide clear guidance for pupils, staff and families about using devices, the internet, online platforms and digital communication responsibly.

We regularly teach online safety as part of our curriculum and provide children with opportunities to learn how to recognise potential risks, make positive choices online, protect their personal information and know what to do if something online makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

We believe that keeping children safe online is a shared responsibility. We encourage parents and carers to talk regularly with their children about their online experiences and to familiarise themselves with the guidance and policies provided on this page.

Please see below for our Online Safety Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, along with further information and resources to support families in keeping children safe online.
