History - The Victorians
See PurpleMash for this weeks 2do ‘Old and New Toys’. The children need to compare toys from Victorian times to toys of today. It gives them things to consider when comparing them!

Staying Safe On-line
Due to the current situation, many of our children and families are spending more time than ever before on-line. Due to this, we thought it would be an appropriate time to raise awareness of ways that you and your children can stay safe on-line whilst enjoying and making the most of the wealth of resources available. Please, take some time to use the websites below and carry out some of the activities to ensure that the internet and social media are being used with care.
Home learning Tuesday 31st March
Please find below links and work sent through email. Any problems please email me. 2dos have also been sent through purple mash.
Take care and stay safe x
Spring 2 Term!
Spring 2 Week 5 - Week Commencing 23rd March
Potential activities for those working at home.
Here are some activities you may want to do this week; they are not compulsory by any means, however, long days at home may need breaking up!
We were supposed to make a papier mache moutain during our last few weeks. We would love you to have a go at creating your own moutain structure! Either out of papier mache (as planned) or out of any material you are able to use. Eg: Lego, recyclable materials!
Here are some inspiration pictures from last year's, home made models:
It is really important that while spend time at home we engage in some exercise. This could be: yoga, football, dancing, ball skills, online fitness videos etc... See below documents and website links to keep yourself active. Also, Joe Wicks is delivering live fitness work outs at 9am each day on Youtube!
As the children are aware, for our computing curriculum we use PurpleMash. This is a program that all children have an individual login to access. Across the weeks, I will set '2do's' for the children - 2dos are tasks set by me for the children to complete and hand in (all children are aware of what they are and how to use them!)
Our topic this half term is 'Databases'. Children should be confident in creating their own database and this would be a great task for the children to do whilst at home and save it to the 5T work folder.
However, PurpleMash is a great resource of education games and learning and is something the children enjoy to use. I would encourage the children access PurpleMash while they are home
Home Learning Packs
For the children who attended school on Thursday 19th they received a printed home learning pack. Please see the documents attached below to access the same work that was sent home. Do not feel obliged to print them off, work can be done on paper.
Home Learning that was emailed on Tuesday 24th March
See below copies of weblinks and PDF documents of reading, maths and SPaG activities.
I have emailed copies of the marks schemes for parents to check the children's work too. If you've not received this for any reason please email me and let me know. There have been 2DO's set on PurpleMash too!
