Welcome to Class 2M

We are a happy and friendly class and we are looking forward to our new adventures in year 2. Our Class teacher is Mrs Millington and our teaching assistant is Mrs Williams. We look forward to sharing our activities with you.

What we will be learning in the Summer Term

Science Week - Testing different surfaces linked to work on materials

Prayer Week

Easter symbols - Learning about the Last Supper

World Book Day - Reading with Year 4

World Book Day

To begin our new topic about the Great Fire of London, Year 2 had an exciting afternoon taking part in a bucket relay challenge. We found out that in the past, before there were hosepipes, people had to pass buckets of water along a line of people to put out a fire. We are looking forward to doing many more exciting things as we find out about this important historic event.

Happy New Year!

We have had a very busy start to the Spring Term already and the children have settled back into school life.

The children have had a lot of fun developing their baking skills, making a biscuit shaped like a gingerbread man. They worked carefully to decorate them and copy their designs. I am sure you will agree that they looked good enough to eat!

Memory Boxes

We created memory boxes to help us remember the different activities and events that happened over the summer. We collected objects such as photos, leaflets, tickets, shells and many other things from the holiday to help us remember. We have really enjoyed sharing our memory boxes with each other and talking about the things we have done.
